The funeral of Inqilab Manch convener Sharif Osman Hadi has been completed. Lakhs of people ded Hadi funeral.
The chief advisor was accompanied by Jamaat Amir Shafiqur Rahman and Secretary General Professor Mia Md. Golam Parwar, BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed and NCP Convener Nahid Islam. Inquilab Manch Member Secretary Jaber and Religious Advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain spoke before the funeral.
Manik Mia Avenue, the two fields on the southern side of the Parliament Building and the surrounding areas were crowded with people.
On December 12, the day after the announcement of the schedule for the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum, miscreants shot Osman Hadi in the head on Box Culvert Road in Purana Paltan, Dhaka. He was first treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later at Evercare Hospital.
When his condition deteriorated, Osman Hadi was taken to Singapore by air ambulance on December 15 for better treatment. He died while undergoing treatment there on Thursday. His body was brought back from Singapore yesterday. It was kept at the National Heart Institute Hospital morgue. A state mourning has been declared today on the death of Sharif Osman bin Hadi.
